Could things get any worse for Merck and GlaxoSmithKline, the makers of the HPV vaccines?
New research shows that the HPV vaccines don’t even work in some of the women most at risk for developing an HPV infection.
This is truly incredible information. African American women have the second highest rate of HPV infection (after Latina women). Their rate of HPV infection is almost 40% higher than that of white women in the US.
Yet the strains of HPV that African American women get are different than the strains of HPV white women get and guess what? The vaccines don’t cover the strains the African American women get!!!!
What is the upshot? African American women are taking the risk of getting the vaccine and having a severe adverse reaction but they have almost NO UPSIDE because the vaccines don’t work on the strains they are most likely to carry.
OMG!!!!
Clinical studies don’t use African American women in their trials very often so they are under-represented but they are having these HPV vaccines and other drugs pushed on them without scientific proof that they work on them.
Now there is clear proof that the HPV vaccines really can’t work on African American women because they don’t carry the HPV strains targeted by the vaccines.
This all demonstrates a few important points:
1) We are not all the same – we are INDIVIDUALS and one size fits all will never be an appropriate form of treatment.
2) These supposedly well studied, safe drugs FDA keeps approving are not only unsafe for many folks they are a don’t even work on millions of the target recipients – what a farce!
3) None of this matters in the hallowed halls of the vaccine makers because they just ring the cash register no matter what.
The vaccine makers create products that harm thousands if not more, they bear zero financial or legal liability for the harm their products cause, and they are in the enviable position of having governments purchase and push their products on an unwitting public.
That is a business model any business person would dream of but the vaccine makers don’t have to dream. They just rack up billions and view us as collateral damage.
